Hi everyone, my first post here and was hoping someone could answer a question I have...
I own a 2003 Tracker PT175 that I am having problems with the livewell system. I don't fully understand how it works and have not been able to find enough info online or from Trackers website to help. It seems that Flowrite had made 5 different models for these boats and I have number 2 in the series. It has a switch by the throttle lever that says auto / empty and a rocker switch on the dash that says auto / manual. When in the auto position it just brings in enough water to fill the tank 2/3's full. Is there a timer for filling or some kind of sensor that know's the water level? There is a housing under the pump that I assume is a deverter of some kind, but it's really hard to get to. I opened the pump and it was clear of debris but I can't get to the other part. Before I take both out and bust some knuckles I want to be sure I understand the system.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
BT
