Hey guys, working on the electrical part of my Track 1436 Mod and I'm looking for some battery box suggestions.

So far I've Found the Noco Heavey Duty Large Batter Box for $9.99 which will get the job done, but then I saw the Minn Kota Power Center Box for about $60 which has a nice battery meter and Cigarette power ports on it. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a cheaper battery box with a battery meter in it?

this is the one I bought three years ago https://www.walmart.com/ip/SeaSense-Deluxe-Power-Station/10086725 it has the meter and plug in, its great for the $35 bucks

Thanks FishingBuds, that's exactly what I was looking for and a price I can accept. I can't see paying $60 for the Minn Kota brand.

I have the minn kota version and yes it is expensive but it is very nice. I have no experience with the $35 version but you get what you pay for I'm betting the minn kota is worth the extra $$$. Remember, buy cheap, buy twice ;)

I usually don't buy the cheapest, but I'll settle for a non-branded version of the same product that has the same quality.

I decided to go with the $8.00 Walmart battery box since I decided to put the batteries in the bench seat so the battery meters and cig power adapters will not be accessable.

My battery meter still works, label is still there, the handle still attached, the elec. adapter works perfect still. all the wiring is still in great shape and the box itself has no cracks, fade, shrink or warp. not bad for 35 bucks 8)

Thanks for the feedback...I think the $35 one is the exact same one as the Minn Kota except it doesn't have the $25 Minn Kota Sticker on it. Of course with out the Minn Kota sticker on it, I'll only get half the battery life..... :roflmao:

Also, just realized my trolling motor has a built in bettery meter on it. \:D/
