Missouri trolling motor registration

it is kindve crazy i dont know this, but what are the titling laws on trolling motors on boats in missouri.

i have bought and sold a bunch of boats with trolling motors on them, never seen a title to one or was one previously registered or did i register it.
but every once in a great while ill see a trolling motor with a white motor registration sticker like on an outboard.

Yeah back many years ago you had to title, register, and of course pay property tax on trolling motors.
Just another way for the gov to get money. Glad they ended that crap. =D>
