Need help identifying my18ft Jon Boat. There is a plate on the front but it is too worn to read. I Would like to know the Manufacturer, but more important I need to know what HP it is rated for and the weight capacities. Any Help would be greatly appreciated!
Have you checked to see if you can find the hull ID number. Should be on the transom (usually outside right side) if it has one. May not have one if it's old enough or if someone removed it.
As far as capacities are concerned you could just look up a similar boat and go by that, to be safe subtract 5% maybe but, I would think that a 35 hp would be enough for that rig and it would hold 4 people ok.
