Need internal engine parts for Gale Sea King 1962 15hp 2stroke....any ideas?

I need
crankshaft bearing
gasket kit
piston rings

I doubt that they still sell any of these parts from any dealer so your best bet is probably going to be keeping an eye on ebay for someone selling NOS. You might also look for any of the vintage swap meets or search the net for vintage collectors and contact them.

Ok, im doing some looking around anyway. Ive tracked down a few part numbers but am unsure if they are available or even the right part. I may just have to get out my file and emery cloth and fix these rod bearings myself. I will for sure need piston rings tho. I snapped em trying to remove em.

I found a 1962 sea king on craigslist, i called the guy for some answers. he hasnt called back yet.

Lower piston was bound up in cylinder. Also the connecting rod bearing was shot. I was able to clean it and get it working again.

Thats what 50:1 will get you in that engine every time. Good luck with your parts search and let us know how its going.
