First let me say thanks for having me here. Ive been fishing for more years than I like to add up. I had a crummy boat about 20+ years ago but bin fishing from shore since. Things are about to change. I can now go out on the water again. I've been looking for a nice used boat for a long time but pickings in my area have not been good or too expensive for me to afford. I finally found one. The other day I purchased a 1990 14' Lowe Deep V with a 1976 Evinrude 9.9 HP outboard, 1990 trailer, 3 nice folding swivel seats, wood floor decking. The motor is old but looks to have not been used very much and runs like it's new. The past two days I've added my touches with running lights, 12 volt outlets, sonar, trolling motor, trailer transom saver, boat cover. There a few things that I want for it yet but the funds are depleted for now.
I have it hitched up for my first time out with it. I need to get it checked out because I got a 30 day warranty on the boat. motor, and trailer, and also because I can't wait to be able to go where I want and not have to go where paths let you reach the water.
Here aew pics from the add when I found the boat and worked a deal. I'll post some pics from after I added my stuff in a day or so:
Thanks for looking.

Hello all: Thanks for the nice replies. Here two pictures of the rig this morning, loaded and ready to head to the lake. Told my wife I may end up doing more cruising around today to check things out and see how everything works than I do fishing. Either way, it should be fun except for the sun and heat but no way around that. Hope there isn't anybody at the ramp when I get there. It's been over 20 years since I lunched a boat......

Launching isn't my problem, it's the recovering that gives me fits. I had aheck of a time getting the dang trailer backed yesterday, as the place I was at re-did the area in front of the (very narrow) ramp. The city dug out the bank directly (basically creating about a 3' high wall) across from the ramp and added some large gravel, thereby shortening the room to pull straight-up and back down the ramp. There's limited turning room now and if you're not careful you'll clock a couple of huge oak trees with your vehicle.

Nice looking rig. That motor looks like it's in mint condition at least from the outside. I feel your pain about the shore fishing, congrats on the new vessel  .
