YIKES  is that wood under the front deck ? When will boat manufactures learn wood and water dont mix ! Man that is a nice boat I have been looking at that same boat in my search as well. I had several alumacrafts most with good luck other than the wood. You guys wanting to know about the flotation their is plenty of space in most every boat I cut to fill in with foam spray closed cell expanding when you cut a hole out to add storage boxes. I have never found one full of foam and always add more back than what I took out. It also makes it more rigid and quieter. I fill them suckers up and some times it pushes out below the bench seats down in the ribs, if so after it dries take a coat hanger and push it thru back and forth to clean out the V so water can drain.
