new to the boat world and need a little help

so like i said i am new to the boat world and i just got a little U13 Valco and plan on running a fish finder, as well as so L.E.D interior lights for early morning fishing. my question is what size/brand of battery would you all recommend. also the battery will be mounted in the bow of the boat to save a little working room in the back don't know if that matters much or not. thank you for your time and good fishing.

Might consider the 12v deer feeder batteries, they will run a simple gps/2d sonar FF all day long, and LED lights don't pull much juice either. Don't know how long these will run a down scan or side scan unit. You can make a waterproof box with connections for less than $20, check out kayak forums on how to build the battery box. I built one and simple and it works good.
