Newbie Question

Is it worth the money to go with a nicer boat (cosmetically speaking) or is it easier to fix it up? This is my first boat. The price difference is about 300 dollars

Nicer is alway better and you will always have stuff to fix no matter what you pay for

times 2 here. better to fix a pretty boat than a junkie one. Have fun.

More important than how it looks are:

1. How big is it?
2. Do you like the layout?
3. Is it a solid boat - no leaks etc?
4. Does it have the proper paperwork?
5. How is the trailer?

All those things being equal, I'd definitely pay a few extra hundred bucks to get a nicer looking boat.
