Pedestal seats

I presently have a 14 foot boat with bench seats. I use a clamp-on sytle seat base on top of the bench but I have not had much success with it. My wife has gone over backwards twice and the clamps have been as tight as possible. I'm thinking of adding a seat base and seat mount from a pedestal system. My question is, do the seat mounts fit into the pedestal bases on all types of removable pedestals or is it only certain makes and models?

You have to have matching bases, pedestals and seat mounts...There are about 3 or 4 different styles.
