Pontoon yacht.

"B is for build" on Youtube is building a Pontoon Yacht. When done it will be 40' long and 12' wide.
It will have a second level and a hot tub built into the bow. It's an interesting project.

They started with 6 tubes and welded several together end to end to end up with 2 tubes close to 40' long and 2 more in between the main tubes. So it's like a quadtoon.

There is a monster tri-toon in our area, saw it on the river a couple times. Gotta be 30' long with an enclosed cabin area. Has 3.. 300hp Mercs on the back, and it moves right along !! Glad I don't pay his fuel bill !

I've seen a couple double decker pontoons on the lake but the upper level is small. Maybe half the length of the lower level and always with a slide from the upper level. Looks like a tun of fun !

I understand this is a home build, but they rent out Pontoon Houseboats all the time in certain areas. I'll see if I can grab a couple of quick pics and post them.

A lot of "houseboats" are actually built on a barge hull for the size and stability. At least that's what I have seen on most lakes in the mid west areas.

I'd rather see a larger diameter pontoon, maybe something 55 gal drum size.
