prop worth repairing?

Would it be worth it to send to shop to repair?Also, can the pitch be changed while repairing if I wanted?

A good shop can easily do both.

compare that price to a new prop that is properly balanced.

thanks.Good shops should be able to balance these correct?I can get a new prop for under $100.May cost closer to $75 to get it fixed and change pitch.I was thinking with going from an 11 pitch to 10 to increase rpms alittle.I can't get a true rpm reading with this I think.Need to get a tach first and go from there.

Custom made at local marina.Have one on my 9.9hp Johnson also.Not cheap and made to fit each motor.Takes awhile to get one made.Had it made over the winter since my motor had to be at the shop to do it.Don't want to try getting one during boating season for sure.You do lose some speed with this of course.

I fish river a couple times a year that this thing would give me a lot more peace of mind about thanks I'll have to use your picture and come up with something for my local welder
