What I noticed was the second that trigger is pulled the first time of the season on the water, those ducks get hard to work. I love opening day because you can walk up on ducks until they hear a gunshot then they're easy to spook

Bought a used 56 5.5hp elgin not running, from a friend for 20 bucks the other day. Well it still doesn't run and the cylinder is locked up. I'm new to outboards so I didn't know what to look for when buying and just gave him 20 bucks for the chance. Today though, I bought a 1964 evinrude 3hp lightwin. It was more or less fully rebuild, and man does she purr. Super stoked to get it out on the lake sunday.

Hey all, went fishing today. Not really putting any money into the boat but it was fun. Ended up going to a property my uncle owns and fished it. It was the first time I'd fished his pond on there seriously. (another time I casted maybe 5 times and caught a smaller bass).

Anyways, here's the catches worth noting today.

Hey all, this boat is for sale now... student loans are coming due and thats a priority... I have a kayak that'll suffice for fishing and hunting I guess. 55lb troller 30lb troller. 29 and 27 group batteries. Boat trailer, 3 life jackets, oars, 64 evinrude lightwin 3 horse. Anchor line etc...
