I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction on this one. My boat came with 2 6.6 gallon Chilton plastic fuel tanks (see reference picture from internet). Well both fuel caps started leaking this year due to cracking open. So I want to replace the caps, but I have no idea which cap may work on them. I find caps all over, but I am unsure if they all utilize the same size and thread. I don't care if it has a gauge in it as I don't use the ones I have, and honestly a plain one is probably cheaper.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement cap?

I appreciate any help you can offer.

I just found this info online, maybe it will help you!

”I saw a post asking about a new cap for a Chilton tank and yesterday I found one for mine at West Marine. It does not have the fuel gauge but I can look in the tank.
Part number 13099544...............$12“
