Hello! I recently purchased a 2007 Lund Explorer SS but it didn't include a key for the rod locker. The lock is stamped RH001 and a quick search of the Google showed that it was a made by Perko and seems to be common across different boats. Would someone out there have a key to lend so I can make copies or an extra they would be willing to sell? Thanks in advance and I look forward to being a part of this forum!

Thought I knew what it was but figured I'd call my locksmith buddy and find out for sure. The stampings like that on lock cylinders are actually the key code so a locksmith can make a new key. Sort of like a dealership can do with a vin number. Just call your local locksmith and tell him the type of lock and the code and he should be able to cut you a replacement:)

Edit: That's probably why his ^ was the same once it was replaced.

Not my video, but it may be helpful.

I emailed Perko and they are sending me a free set after I provided proof of ownership! Can't complain about that!
