I boneheadedly hooked up the battery wires for my 03 Yamaha F-90s starter motor and hydraulic tilt backwards for 5-10 mins, now neither will work. How much or what could have been damaged? I heard no sounds and smelled no smoke.

thanks guys, the T/T cables have an unblown fuse inline on the positive lead, but none on the neg. side. I will look for a blown fuse on the engine when it stops raining.

Thanks again to all, I found a blown 20 amp fuse and a spare in the fuse cover, after replacing the T/T works fine and I'll wait till it warms up a bit to start the engine. I assume the other leads are for the switch panel, lights and accesories and w the main switch on the panel off, no harm was done there.
