Sears 1436 Ideas ?

My plan is to build a bow deck for my Minn Kota Powerdrive Trolling motor, I have the deck cut out it's 1\4 " aluminum diamond plate . I have 1.5 " aluminum angle to brace it up with and I want to enclose this small deck with reynobond material for storage. My only holdup is time . Has anyone done a similar project and if I use any wood (preferably not) what is the best wood for this purpose . I plan on applying gray Herculiner to the interior of the boat, and I have already got seats and a fish finder for it . Just need time . Any suggestions will be appreciated .

It's Saturday and maybe my brain is switched off this morning but when you are referring to time are you talking about how long it takes to build or how long the wooden material will last?

I have a 1436 sears deep v i am going to modify so ill watch your post carefully.Still looking for ideas will add floor and livewell esp.
