Service Manual For Mariner 40 hp

Having trouble finding a service manual for my Mariner 40 hp.

The tag says Mariner 40EL 6E9 L 416707. Made in Japan.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What year model do you think it is? In the 80s Yamaha and Mariner were basically the same thing so maybe you could get away with getting a Yamaha manual. Then later Mercury and Mariner became the same.

I think it's an '85. But I sure would like to narrow it down to be sure.
