Side rail ties downs

Hello,
I have been looking for the kinds of tie downs which work on the side rails of my tin boat. I have had some in the past that works by a rope method which have a clamp looking device that fits over the gunnel. You adjust the rope then clamp down the clamp and insert the pin to hold it in place.
I've looked all over the web without much luck. Anybody know what I'm looking for and where can i find them. Some of them even have a spring built in the keep em taught.
