Stripers on Lake Lanier

Rainy and cold weather was forecast last Saturday but I still fished for Stripers in the back of a creek on the upper end of the lake. Started looking for bait deep but found the bait in 20 to 25’. No wind and only a light mist made for a good morning. Caught 7 Stripers in about 5 hours. Best day so far this fall. All fish came on planner boards using small trout. Nothing on down lines & not a bite on bluebacks. Not even a spot. All the fish were 12 to 15lbs.

Thanks. 4 to 5 year class fish. 12 to15 pounds. Not Hugh but fun on light tackle.
