Let me put it this way! I would like to keep my # Thrust but interchange the motors! I have older model co-pilot Minn-Kota thrust no sure about, and I also have a new #55 lb thrust Minn-Kota transom. What I like to do is change the co-pilot motor and put my #55 in it's place. I don't see any problems, the shaft size diameter and length looks the same. So is possible to do this or not?
Thanks

depends, some motors run with a board, some a basic switch and wire.. I have a old 535 that has a board in it, and a newer motor guide that is basicly direct drive, switch interupts the wire... I am guessing the powerdrive has a board..
