Titanium

I just got done putting a Quarter inch thick piece of titanium on my 12 ft John boat.
Wanting to see if any one else has done the same thing.

Yea my uncle works at Koch cellulose and they basically throw that
Stuff away.

What is titanium on that boat? Mounting plate?

Oh, OK, that explains why you used titanium, you got it at a good deal.

If you had to go out and buy a new titanium plate at the actual cost, you wouldn't want to use it, as it's probably very expensive. I know how proud they are of stainless and aluminum. I can only imagine what they'd charge for titanium :shock:

How well does titanium tool? Id imagine drilling it or cutting would be tough?
