Hey yall! My name is Tony i hail from a little down in South Carolina called Bluffton, i have had a fishing pole in my hand since i could walk and i get that from my father who is a HUGE bass fisherman. I bit the bullet recently and bought my first boat. I picked up a 1542 mod v 1994 monark with a 1993 Mercury 20hp tiller (electric & pull start) boat and motor are in great shape, the trailer needs some love but i will take care of that.
I will be using this boat primarily for bass fishing, which freshwater is tough to find by me in the coastal "low country" but i might get a wild hair and get out in some salt and redfish a little bit. Which im sure this boat can handle some brackish waters.
im going to post a bunch of pics off the bat of when i first bought her, i ripped everything out then today i went ahead and gave her a camo paint job, and started the decking using 2x2s, bracing, SS screws, waterproofed the pressure treated wood, starting the carpet tomorrow.
