Too much for a 16' seafarer

I just picked up a Honda 50 for short money. One thought for this engine is to put it on my 16' starcraft seafarer. Has anyone put this much power on a 16 seafarer? This engine is also about 100lbs heavier than the current 40hp tohatsu. I am not sure how much of a concern this will be as I plan to add enough weight forward to balance it out.

If anyone has experience with this engine on the seafarer or a similar hull I would be interested to,hear about it.

What is the hull rated for? If it isn't rated for 50, then don't do it.
