my setup is a bass pro 6'6'' mh/f(dont need sensitivity here) with a shimano curado 7:1

Big difference between the rod and reel I use for topwater frogs through the thick weeds and poppers for river smallies

Ok, totally different story!

For frogs I use a shimano curado e7 (7.0:1) on a st croix avid 7'0 h/f with 50lb braid! basically my jig set-up that doubles for frogs!
