My original source of power on my tin was a trolling motor, but i just recently bought a 1968 6hp Evinrude. I am now wanting to make my transom mount TM a bow mount TM. I have already made the mount for it on the bow, I just am not sure how to turn the head around. I know a lot of people on here have done it and I read elsewhere that it is pretty simple. I'm just looking for a little bit of help. It is a MotorGuide Great White 24v 67lb thrust transom mount TM not sure of the year if I had to guess it would be 1999.

On the MKs it's just undoing a couple screws, twisting the head around, and putting the screws back in. I'd have to imagine it's got to be something similar on yours.

Thanks, and you were correct. It was very simple, unscrewed the cover - and found the bolt I needed to take out to rotate the head. I guess it was WAY simpler than I had expected.
