Trolling motor mount?????

I recently purchased a 1552 WeldCraft Flat Bottom Jon from a seller on Craigslist.

It has a huge front casting deck, but that deck is slight recessed below the top edge of the boat....probably about 5 inches.

It is bare bones right now, but I have purchased a 101lb thrust Minn Kota Bowguard Foot Control motor and a 3 bank charger for the 36 volt system.

With the recessed casting deck, what's the BEST way to mount this motor to the front of the boat?

Have one made and welded on out of aluminum.
