Turducken

Thinking of buying a Turduken online and smoking it on Thanksgiving day.

Anyone do this? Thoughts and tips of where to get one and cooking ideas?

I live in Massachusetts. Turduckens are non-existent in these parts. :LOL2:

Reminds me of something you would find inside a British meat pie. I've never tasted one. Didn't even know what it was until I googled it.

My aunt and uncle made one for a holiday - she got very mad at the way he cut it as the various meats separated...so you might want to look into that ahead of time to follow the right technique.

It was tasty no mater how it looked.

Done deal! It will arrive the day before thanksgiving, hopefully. If its good we will go full blown turduken at some other point.

On the smoker until the internal temp hits 165°.

Smoker temp is 350° and i am using apple pellets.

I’m so disappointed. That was up there with one of the worst things i have ever eaten. Even the dog had to think twice before eating it. Blah!
