Uptick in Spam Folder Stuff?

Is it just me? I'm seeing a definite increase in the amount of spam email I receive. They are about phony PayPal, geek squad,Costco memberships, etc. I've also repeatedly won some prize from Tractor Supply!!. I used to receive these occasionally. I'm getting at least 10/day now. I block them but they keep coming. I probably need to change a setting somewhere.

It may be a regional thing or something of a bot that hacked your internet searches. I get spam but often in the form of political and real estate, my two big hobbies outside of boating. Oddly enough I don't get any boating spam.

I don’t really pay attention to them. What gets through gets reported or deleted asap.

I’ll never click a link in an email to log onto my account, scan my pc for virus, etc., etc. Even if it looks legitimate.

I get tons of spam from time to time. Then it dies down. Then a bunch of new ones come in. I just block and delete anything that doesn't concern me.
Google has a lot to do with this, I'll bet.

I wish. I just helped a friend (stroke victim) unsubscribe and flag a ton of stuff ending up in her inbox. If I had that power I would use it for good...probably.
