I've been fixin up this '90 Valco BR16 and now found some serious corrosion in the transom area below the waterline. It looks galvanic. I'm trying to decide if I should try to have a new transom welded on or just scrap the boat. Don't know if throwing money at it is worth it at this stage. Too bad as it is a really great hull design. Will try to post some pictures soon. Anyone have any ideas?
