Voltage Drop when using Anchor Winch

So I have installed a MK Deckhand 40 Anchor winch on my boat and am running it off my starting battery which powers all other electronics. I have it tied to my fuse block instead of directly off the battery with 8AWG wire and is fuse protected at 35A. I noticed that whenever I run it up or down both of my Fishfinders drop off line due to the buss voltage dropping. I figure this "hard" shutdown is probably not good for them as well. Anyway I have two 12 V group 29 batteries in series (24V) up front for the trolling motor alone and am wondering if anyone sees a problem with pulling 12V off of one battery for the Anchor winch. I keep my boat on a battery charger after each use and all three are charged up after each use.

I have tried two different batteries as my cranking battery and it does the same thing.

I don't think you'll have any problems switching it over to run off one of the TM batteries.

Have you compared actual current draw against factory spec?
