Walleye, Smallie and a trout

This past Monday I stopped at the WWD on the Susquehanna river hoping for some smallie action. Managed one decent smallie but the camera did not work. Also, hooked into this walleye with a X-rap sub-walker, the lure was as big as the fish. Walleye are crazy in what they will try and eat.

Yesterday (Friday) I had to go past a local trout stream and pulled out this nice wild Brown. The Brownie fell victim to a Husky Jerk (HJ-3) pulled across a current seam. had a few more followers but they would just sniff and turn.

Judging by the size of the bootprints in the snow next to the fish, that's a decent-sized catch. Congrats! 8)
