Well, it's been awhile since mounting the prototype of the Wee Vee 12V tm guard, and I have to report that I'm pretty darned pleased! 
. Where I launch has rocks (and a cinder block or two some idiot threw off the dock), so protecting a transducer mounted on the tm can cause some worry, especially in murky, shallow water where you can't see anything (I've seen the rocks, cinder blocks when the lake was pumped-down low). The Wee Vee guard didn't cause any problems/interference with the signal and I fished w/o any worries of dinging/breaking the transducer. 8) .
