What kind of Primer is it? I think I saw Rustoleum Aluminum Primer that was a Latex primer.

I'm curious also. I'm going to use the Zinc Chromate, but I want to apply a coat of light primer also, so that I get nice even color when I do the top coat.

Self Etching Primer, you can buy it at Walmart for $5 a can. If you want the real good stuff, go to O'Reilly's and pick up a can of Nason (made by Dupont) Self Etching Primer. Just make sure you hace roughed up the aluminum and cleaned it well (and tacked it)
