Hello all. I have an old (1960) 14' tinny. I need to relocate the deep cycle and 6 gallon fuel tank in the bow, and I have few questions.

First, what gauge wire should I use for about a 12' run?
How do I tie the TM, outboard (9.9 Merc) and bilge pump in to the battery wire extension?
Do I need a fuse box? If so, what sort and where should it be mounted?

The TM is a Minn Kota Endura Max 55, so it draws a lot of juice. The battery is a 27, and it's in the Minn Kota battery box with a 60 amp breaker built in to protect the TM.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

From Minn Kota's page, it looks like no less than 8 Ga, conservative would be 6 ga.
