Would you put Gluvit on a brand new boat?

Hey guys.Very informative site.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Duranautic DNB14 aluminum boat for some worm trolling and plugging in salt water.The boat will be kept on a trailer and rinsed off after each trip.
My question is would you recommend putting a coat of Gluvit to protect it over the years or is rinsing and washing it off enough?

I would say no if the boat is new I would wait until my warranty was up to do anything that may void it.
