yamaha wire size?

I'm getting ready to upgrade the battery/wire connections and fuse box on my 14' Gregor with Yamaha 15hp 4-stroke w/elec start. The motor is a 2007 F15CESH. Does anyone know what gauge the power leads from the motor are?

I've since talked a boatyard owner who tells me the leads are 6 guage. I took a closer look and it appears he was right.
