Love your boat , I'm doing my 1542 ( first one ) I hope you don't mind a couple of questions ? Did you only glue your carpet down ? Staples ? And did you glue it directly to the sides of the seats ? I also used the idea of the side shelf with stereo and was wondering if you put yours on a hinge...

Was wondering what the recommendations are as far as attaching carpet to sealed plywood . Using just an indoor outdoor carpet as replacing isn't really a big deal . Should glue and staples be used or just staples ok or actually screw it down ? Any suggestions would be appreciated ! ;)

Hey leekatt , I see your post is older but I'm new to this and saw your post . Was wondering is there is any stability issues ? Would like to put the same front deck on and also if the plywood is just level from one bench to the other ?

Thanks Chrispy ; just looked at your build , very nice , with the deck the size of yours and its fine as far as balance , I'm not worries about it at all now ! Did the wood framing add much weight to the project ?

Hello ; I would like to put a casting deck on the front but wonder us it will affect the " tipiness " of the boat , from what I have seen on the pics , it could be either level with front and middle bench or level with middle bench then a little lower at the front bench ! Any suggestions ? Not...

Hello ; I just bought the same boat and love to see ideas ! Did you add a bench in front of the existing bench ? I also want to add the radio in front of the rear bench as well but was thinking of just cutting the metal and installing from top after foam is cut out ( any thoughts )?
