    1989 Bass Tracker TX17

Go on line minnkota has a wire chart that shows amperage, size of wire needed for the run length. Most 12v TM draw more amps then 24v . Most manufacturers now days run 6 gauge so it will work on both and not get too hot with a 12v unit. My boat had 8 gauge in it. I switch to a 24v and the run...

Casting deck with gas tank underneath

I’d say it’s really good info above. At least people are trying to keep him from having to pour the old gas in his towed vehicle. So he can keep fresh gas for the outboard LOL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    1989 Bass Tracker TX17

I would not cut that out. Unless you will be putting one in no more than a foot back. And it would need to run all the way across from rail to rail. That bulkhead is more for the hull then the deck. JMHO Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Casting deck with gas tank underneath

That six gallon tank should be more than enough. I took a 22 gal out of my boat , and using a 6 gal now. With a 60 hp, I can go 3 trips or more. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Mercury vs. Quicksilver vs. Solas Props

If you want a 4 blade. Get a Spitfire aluminum 4 blade, in the same pitch. SS is to heavy for this horse power. And the motor can’t turn fast enough, or pushing enough weight to flex a aluminum prop. So SS is really a waste of money. But the Spitfire is so much better then the Black Max 3 blade...
