Well I awoke a little before 7 this morning to the sound of rain. I looked out the door and everything was soaked.I checked the radar and there was just a tiny little cell of rain over Seymour, so I decided to chance it and head out to the river. I picked up my buddy Mark and we were standing in the river a few minutes before 8am. On my first cast I landed a nice Pumpkin Seed and the fun began. We fished 4 different spots in from 8 til noon and landed at least 30 fish...probably more. We caught at least 15 smallmouth, several rockbass, creek chubs, and bluegill. I also managed to land a whale of a Carp and a nice river Blue Cat. The Carp really got the heart to pumpin! Took a good 6-8 minutes to get it in. The Lord bless, the rain held off and we had a great time. All fish were caught on crickets around 3-6' deep. Below is the link to all the pics from the day and a few snap shots from all the fun.
