12ft Lowe A1257

Has anyone had any experience with modifying out a 12ft Lowe A1257? I have a 9.5hp Johnson that I want to put on it if I purchase it....currently, I have a 13' OLD Seaking which is WAY, WAY to tippy...looking for something a little more stable and found an A1257 for a good price....

I had the 80's version of that Lowe, it was a great little boat. I had an 8hp Johnson on it, I chased fish all around Martha's Vineyard in it and it was seaworthy and stable. Sold it to a friend when I upgraded and its still going strong.
