Hey everyone new to the site here just got my first boat this week. Not sure what kind it is though. It has a plate wth some numbers on it but nothing other than that due to the fact the guy who had it before me painted it. Any info on what kind of boat it is will be appreciated!

The double handle bow handle is pretty distinctive.
I found on a few old labels that a very bright led flashlight and a magnifying glass came in very handy at reading as much info as possible.

It's a sea nymph.I have the same boat . can't tell the year as with mine also.

Thanks guys using a flashlight did come in handy for finding some numbers that led me to seeing it was a sea nymph.

How do you register a boat if you can't read the HIN or serial number?

I know that in TX, I have to bring a very good picture...or...a "rubbing" that shows the HIN number. A "rubbing" is done by laying a piece of paper over the number plate and rubbing the side of a pencil over the paper. That highlights whatever was engraved into the HIN plate.
