Hello Tin Boat community. So glad that I found this site. My wife and I purchased our first boat about a week ago and I was looking around at other peoples boats. To make a long story short I found this site where people were making these old boats look great. So I decided I wanted to do a small project with the wife < usually argue a lot, not this time > any how we looked at some pics on here and cam up with a plan to make a trolling motor mount and a casting deck. But we wanted to stat it and gt it done right away. Yesterday we started at about 730 pm and got done about 330am.

I wanted to thank all the member here for your pictures and inspiration to rejuvenate old beauty. Well enough talk here are four pics 2 before and two after.

I have an 11" extension for the front seat if I need to use one. With me (around 200lbs, the girlrfriend and a 65Lb. shepard mix that loves to swim and a cooler of drinks and sandwiches, a 3 gallon tank built under the middle seat and two extra gallons in the bow, we are about at max for the boat I think. #-o Smooth water a little wind it will go about 10-12 MPH with all of us in it. I haven't tried it alone yet. I don't have a battery or a bilge pump in the boat but it has all the foam yours has under the flooring. I don't use the trolling motor, or the big heavy deep cycle battery, but I might put in a AM/FM and two speakers under the rear seat facing forward. I will run it with a Motorcycle gell cell. Lights are wired but not hooked up. It's sitting on a OLD Tee-Nee trailer. I can run around the lake for about 3 hours and I use about 1 1/2 gallons and most of that is wot. I replaced the old factory rusted out fenders with a set of galvanized from Northern tool. The little round silver things are aluminum cup holders.
