For starters, my name is Nick, I just graduated from high school.I just found this site about a week ago and figured it would be the perfect place to show this project. I purchased a 14' 1971 Starcraft Semi-V with a trailer for $250 about 3 weeks ago to make a nice little fishing rig out of. The outside of the boat and about 1/2 of the inside of it has already been media blasted to provide a great surface to prime and paint on without all the ridiculous amount of prep. This is my 3rd boat, my 1436 Lowe and 14' Lonestar were my first 2 vessels that I had to sell in order to buy my first car.
Enough of the chit-chat. Here are some pictures.

All of the wood on the boat is rotten or missing. I took off all brackets and boards. The transom is nearly completely gone.
Here she is after taking off all the wood.
Plans for the boat-
Front casting deck with seat post bracket.
2 storage compartments in casting deck.
Bow storage.
Fishing pole holders
Rod and tackle storage between rear seat and casting deck.
Plywood Floor between rear seat and casting deck as well.
50+ lb thrust 24v trolling motor.
New seats and seat posts.
Trailer-
New rollers and bunks
L.E.D. lights.
Replace winch.
Repaint trailer.
I plan on painting the boat white with a blue stripe going down the side, with the stripe widening the closer it gets to the stern.
Blue carpet. White trailer.
Here is my first 14' Lonestar that I wish I still had.
So I do have some experience with building decks and other stuff regarding aluminum boats but I will have plenty of questions for all of you. Thanks for reading this thread.
