Baitcaster's search for a motor may be over

Found a 1958 Evinrude Fastwin 18hp on CL for $150. Repainted and tuned up. Just needs a new top crankcase seal (BRP 305987 or Sierra 18-2018). Not sure if it comes with tank and hose, but for that price I don't care. I already found a guy on CL selling pressurized tanks and hoses.

Thats a great deal. I love the way those old engines look. That 18hp should scoot you pretty good.

You bet! I think she will look great on the Tracker. Can't wait to get her running.

Now I just have to figure out how to replace a crankcase seal! Oh well, I also found a guy who services these engines, if I can't figure it out.
