Charger recommendation

Hi folks,
New to boating here. I have a small trolling motor and two batteries. Can you give recommendations for a good charger?

Also, since I live in Michigan, don’t I need a charger with a trickle function to maintain the battery throughout the winter?

Onboard is the way to go IMO. I have a Promariner. Seems like they're all pretty good.

The more amps, the better.

Im kind of the opposite I don't want to pack a charger every where i go....but Sorry I don't have a recommendation.....My charger stays home until i need it....

I’ve got a minn Kota digital onboard . No problem so far. I’ve had it about 1-1/2 yr.
I run electric only lakes mostly. It does have an off season maintainer. She’s no speed demon. Lmfao so weight is not an issue. I like it simple park it and plug it in.

I just recently picked up the ProMariner 3 bank charger from Amazon and installed it. Been working great so far. Nice not having to deal with moving batteries around and just plugging it in.
