cleaners

picked up a new/used boat recently and i'm needing to clean some of the aluminum on the gunwales and transom.
what products do you guys use?

Pressure washer did wonders for mine when I first got it. Look at the first page of my build thread. Not sure if yours is that dirty or not though.

thanks, i have a little different application, i have some areas on my boat that are bare aluminum that i'm trying to clean so it can be polished.

heres what i'm dealing with, below the red stripe is what i want to clean.
so far i have used a spray on aluminum wheel cleaner,and never dull wading, neither of which has worked.
my green crestliner i just pressure wash and go, my new hewes craft i want to shine a bit! lol

bar keepers friend seems to be the ticket for cleaning bare aluminum.

Looks great! Did you seal it with anything after you cleaned it?

Those Hewescraft Sportsman's are some real nice boats. Yours cleaned up real nicely.

havent sealed it yet, thats next on the list!
im excited about getting it out, ive fished alongside this boat on dozens of salmon tourneys but never fished from the boat. it will be a big change from what i'm used to.
