 8:30AM-1:45PM Windy, overcast with occasional shower, 60-72 air temps, 56-58 water temps, stained water. Water levels were about a foot above normal. The morning started rather quickly as I nailed two largemouth(12"-13") right away on a Strike King redeye sexy shad. Lost another one soon after. I was looking for some better quality fish so I started pitching a Booyah 3/8oz jig in the flooded brush. Picked one up just a little bigger then the other two. Then there was a long dry spell. Nothing seemed to work and I was not going to use finesse tactics. So I changed the SK redeye sexy shad to a chrome SK redeye. About ten casts later over submerged grass I get my biggest of the day at 3lbs 12 ozs. The mouth was nice size but the body was short and stubby.
