 7:45AM-1:45PM. Strong winds, mostly sunny, 50-70 air temps, 62-64 water temps, stained water. Turned out to be a tough day as I only landed two bass. One 14" fish came early on a black Booyah jig/chunk. Then there was a long dry spell. Lipless cranks, chatterbait, Senkos, brush hog, and a Manns-1 did not produce anything. Switched jig colors and went pitching around the laydowns . I immediately picked up my best of the day at 3lbs 2oz. Lost another one soon after. I had another shot at a 3lber when I was retrieving my jig around a laydown but it came off after it blasted the lure. All the fish were really tight to wood.

Good job FD, Thats one of my favoriate places, dont hit it too often but just knowing the quality of fish in there makes me want to come back.

I went Sunday Joe and it was tough then also. I managed 4 but nothing of size. I lost 2 nice ones in a couple laydowns but thats it. I might hit Sunset this weekend.
