DE Bay - W/ the good Doctor

Made a run down to Milford and hit the salt for a day out with Capt. Steptoo and Doc Watson. We left Cedar Creek around 10:00 am in search of Flounder, Croakers and Sea Bass. Kept about a dozen jumbo croakers and released 3-4 flounder and the same number of Sea Bass.

Doc Watson was hot hand early landed a tb flounder

And he can also walk the dog fish

We did not get into any large fish but had a steady catch all day. Doc Watson caught landed and released at least 30 croaker besides the few we kept.


BTW - the fish were delicious!

Baits were slated clam, squid and i tpped mine with Gulp swimming mullet and New Penny Shrimp.

Also, got to use my new boat boots that I picked up last Saturday at Bills Tackle - what a great store!

I love the great selection of fish shirts Bill's has - I will be back this weekend for more shopping

I have gotten hit by a few spiny dogs in my time - never fun

One of the best weather/water days I've had on the DE bay. The company wasn't half bad either. Capt. Steptoo is a real nice guy. The other half... well :roll:

Always a good time fishing with Dave !! Like he said the boat and motor were great. That motor couldn't be heard at idle next to the dock and hauled the boat up on plane real nice.

Dave handled those doggies like Cesar Millan. :wink:
